Battle! PvE and PvP

Player vs Environment | Player vs Player

Variations on Monster Hunting

Gaining experience is crucial to leveling up! Many NPC's will give you experience if you perform tasks for them (quests). Often this involves taking care of some pesky pests that have outlived their welcome. Get your gear ready, we're going monster hunting!

Monster Portrait

You can learn a lot about monsters from their portrait.

Passive

Aggressive

Boss

Level

The monster level displays in a color relative to the character's level. Grey levels will grant no exp, green are within a "normal" level bracket, and red are challenging to impossible.

Type

Certain game aspects affect different monster types differently (for example, resonance stones). The portrait displays whether the monster is a beast, elemental, demon, or other.

Name

The monster's name will display in either yellow or red. If the name is yellow, it won't actively attack until it is attacked. If the name is red, it will aggressively attack anyone that comes too close.

Health and Mana

The health and mana bars display directly below the monster name.

Rarity

Some monsters are more rare than others. These Boss monsters have wings over their portrait to show that they are tougher than your average monster of the same level.

Bounty Hunting

In an attempt to keep Saphael safer, bounties have been placed on several dungeon-dwelling monsters.

Quests are class specific! Be careful when purchasing bounty letters, because you only gain credit if the bounty belongs to your class.

Here we go again...

Bounty hunting is a great way to get some extra experience! You can repeat missions as often as you want, and for every bounty you complete you will receive a mission reward box. These lucky items can contain a variety of goodies, even a bear mount!

Player versus Player

From honorable duels to battleground wars!

Duels

Note: If you are having trouble duelling other players, check your Duel settings in the System Menu (Esc).

Challenge any level!

To request a duel, right click a player's portrait (top middle of the screen when you have them selected). From the menu, click Duel.

The Battle Begins!

Once both players agree to the duel, a 5 second countdown begins!
After the countdown, the players have 99 seconds to defeat their opponent!

More Rules:

  • When teammates duel, their team status is suspended.
  • A third player cannot cast skills on players in a duel.
  • Cannot duel while battling monsters.

Battlegrounds

The Battlegrounds can only be accessed by players level 31 and above.

Accessing the Battlegrounds
There are two different battlegrounds; The Sprite Arena and Hell Fire Arena. You will only have access to the one of your level range (31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61-70).
To enter, right click the Battlegrounds button on the upper left corner of the Minimap and select your Battleground.
Note: You cannot enter a battleground from a dungeon, instance or guild base.

Sprite Messengers from across the world meet here to battle over the land of dreams and nightmares.

  • The group first to acquire 250 points or the most points in 20 minutes wins.
  • The battlefield system will award battlefield points based on player performance at the end of the battle. The player with the most points is the battlefield MVP. Battle Points are important assets for earning treasures from the King of Sprites.
Sprite Messengers hoped to be able to guard this crystal.
